La Ferme du Voyageur

This mountain house is an invitation to travel and to dream. Reverie through the materials that confront and respond to each other: stone and lime plaster, old wood and stainless steel, wool tartan fabrics and Hindu Kush blankets. The journey, through its 7 rooms and their 7 bathrooms, offering a unique decor and the discovery through reading of the Alaskan Fjords, the Tibetan plateaus, the Himalayan peaks and the Swiss lakes. On the top floor, a large bay window plunges the main living space facing the peaks of Serre Chevalier. This room, composed of a living room, a central fireplace, and a kitchen designed by Stéphane Barbier Bouvet, can accommodate up to 15 people. The lower floors include the two independent entrances and the seven bedrooms, including three baths and four showers. On the ground floor, the old vaulted stone barn has been transformed into a Native American living room. Opposite the 70's stove inspired by a trip to the Easter Islands, it is around a stainless steel and old wood bar that the stories of the ski trips are told in the heart of the night. This house was built in the respect of the environment with noble materials and old techniques. The heated floors are powered by solar panels.

Facing south, in the heart of the hamlet of La Chirouze in La Salle les Alpes, the house is located at the start of the shuttle that will take you to the slopes in 5 minutes.
