Vacancium connects holidaymakers with the owners of seasonal rentals — by the sea, in the mountains, in the countryside and in town. Every listing shows the property, its capacity, its amenities and the price you will actually pay: the owner's price, with no mark-up.

A quarter of a century of experience

Our story began in 2000 with Chalet-Montagne.com, one of the very first French websites to put holidaymakers directly in touch with the owners of mountain rentals. In 2002, Alpium was founded in Savoie to publish and develop it. The model has never changed since: direct contact, no commission.

Vacancium, launched by the same team, extends that proven know-how to every destination: the sea, the countryside and the city join the mountains.

The reliability of an established company

Alpium is a French company registered with the Albertville Trade and Companies Register, based in Savoie since its creation. A real team answers your questions via the contact page, owners are verified — identity and contact details — before publication, and your data stays hosted in Europe.

A platform, not a middleman

We take no commission on your bookings. You write to the owner, the owner replies directly, and you arrange your stay together.

Listings run by real owners

The owners on Vacancium manage their own listing, calendar and prices. They — and nobody else — are the people you deal with.
