LE MAZOT

Savoyard farms generally consisted of 3 buildings:

the farmhouse which housed the fireplace and the stable on the ground floor and the hay store on the first floor, this is the Chalet de Jo
The Shed where the farm equipment was stored (carts, ploughs, sledges, presses,...)
The Mazot : the farm's safe where everything of value (documents, clothes, crops and seeds,...) was kept away from the fire

After having welcomed you since 2018 in the Chalet de Jo, we have been able to bring back to life the Remise and the Mazot by striving to keep all their soul while bringing all the comfort of a 4 épis gîte.

You have three chalets at your disposal on the same site: Le Chalet de Jo, la Remise and le Mazot.
Le Mazot can accommodate 4 to 6 people, in its 2 spacious bedrooms, with bathroom and separate toilet, and in the convertible living room, on the ground floor.

The renovation of Le Mazot has taken up the whole of its previous architecture, making maximum use of the old wood.

As soon as you enter, you will be immersed in the Giffre valley thanks to the large bay windows, which will give you access to the terrace. The kitchen area, open to the living room, will allow you to stay in contact with your guests while having the appropriate equipment to express your art. The large farm table will be in direct contact with the outside panorama, as will the cosy living room where you will enjoy the flame of the stove, the view of the Criou or the video equipment.

The 2 bedrooms, one for 2 persons on the ground floor, and the second one on the first floor, more spacious and able to receive an extra bed if necessary, are equipped with bathrooms open on the bedroom and independent toilets, as well as televisions. The upstairs bedroom also has a balcony facing the Chalet de Jo, as does the ground floor entrance balcony.

On the sunny terrace, facing east and south, you will enjoy the jacuzzi, which we wanted to plant, or a lunch around the barbecue. Moreover, this one, by its space, will propose you its corner lounge overhanging the village.

The technical room equipped with shoe dryer, ski rack or storage space for your bike is located on the garden level and welcomes washing machine and dryer.
