Under the stars of the Swiss alpine pastures, just a stone’s throw from the ski slopes, this idyllic chalet offers a peaceful and relaxing getaway for the whole family. Nestled among fir trees and mountain peaks, you’ll feel as though you’ve been transported to Heidi’s world. The enchanting panorama promises a wonderful getaway in the Swiss Alps: sitting by the fireplace, you’ll be treated to the serenity of the mountains after a day of adventure or relaxation, listening to the murmur of the little stream that flows past the terrace.

Access to the ski slopes is via a bisse (ski-in access possible depending on snow conditions) for a distance of about 500 meters to reach the Les Masses chairlift. A second (private) ski storage room is located at the base of the Les Masses chairlift.

The Accommodation:
The 180-square-meter chalet features 5 bedrooms for 10 people and 4 bathrooms, plus a shower adjacent to the sauna.
In the main room, there is a closed wood-burning fireplace, a very well-equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, glass-ceramic cooktop, refrigerator, Magimix food processor, Nespresso coffee machine, drip coffee maker, kettle, toaster, etc. ), a dining area (table for 10 people), a living area with a sofa and armchairs, a TV corner, and a breathtaking view of the Dent Blanche, the Grande Dixence Dam, and the Pyramids of Euseigne...

On the same level, a bedroom with two single beds that can be pushed together to form a large 180-cm-wide bed (king-size) and a small bedroom with a bunk bed share a bathroom featuring a whirlpool tub, a shower, a sink, and a toilet.
Access to the outdoors from this main room leads, on one side, to a large balcony and, on the other, to a terrace connected to a garden area by a small, picturesque wooden bridge spanning a stream.

On the ground floor:

- a large sauna (for 6 people) and an adjoining shower
- a laundry room with a washer and dryer
- a storage room with a freezer

Upstairs:
- 2 bedrooms with double beds (160x200), each with its own private bathroom and toilet.
- 1 master bedroom with a double bed (180x200), a spacious walk-in closet, a private bathroom with a whirlpool tub, a toilet, and a large private balcony.

Additional Notes
Nestled at an altitude of 1,500 meters, the chalet is located a few hundred meters from the slopes and 560 meters from the “Les Masses” chairlift, which connects to the superb 4 Vallées ski area. Access to the chairlift is via the Bisse d’Hérémence, a scenic, flat path that connects to the ski slopes when snow conditions are good. The chalet is therefore almost “ski-in/ski-out.” Please also note that you can store your skis in lockers at the chairlift base. Another option is to take the free shuttle to the Thyon 2000 ski area or the ESS. At the “Les Masses” chairlift station (in the Les Collons ski area), you’ll also find shops (grocery store, sports shop, restaurant, wine bar, etc.). In this lively hub, you can enjoy some downtime at a wellness center featuring an indoor pool and a heated outdoor pool, as well as tennis courts.
The chalet is accessible by car or bus from Sion.
Les Grands Bains d’Hérémence, a thermal spa fed by sulfur-rich water—a rarity in the Swiss Alps—offers a unique wellness experience open to everyone and is located on the trail leading down to the Masses chairlift. The thermal waters of Combioulaz gush forth at the bottom of the Val d’Hérens. It is one of the most significant hot spring sites in Switzerland: no fewer than 81 springs emerge from the rocks, with temperatures ranging from 25 to 29 °C. These springs have long been known to the valley’s residents for their healing properties. The thermal complex features one indoor pool and one outdoor pool with various attractions, three Jacuzzi areas, and a wellness area offering a variety of treatments. All these facilities are open to the general public, and it’s possible to be skiing in the mountains and soaking in the baths on the very same day. Within walking distance of the chalet, you’ll find a more intimate version of this thermal center, the Lumen Spa, which can accommodate about forty people.
In the summer, you’ll find mountain bike trails and superb hiking routes that can take you on foot to the Grande Dixence educational dam or the intriguing pyramids of Euseigne—geological formations created by glacial erosion. Whether you’re strolling along nearly flat paths (the bisses) or tackling steep trails, every option is open to you—and you’ll always be treated to a splendid view!
