You'll feel right at home in this delightful chalet in the heart of Le Grand-Bornand. Built in 2014, it has a stylish and contemporary interior, punctuated with antique furniture and accessories such as rugs and artworks.

Chalet Ibusta is ideally located. The ski shuttle stop, slopes, ice rink and village facilities are all within easy walking distance. If you prefer not to use your car, you can leave it in the garage.

The chalet has four bedrooms for ten people, a sauna, a games room and an outdoor jacuzzi. Everything you need for a perfect mountain holiday.

The accommodation at Chalet Ibusta is spread over three floors. The garage is on the garden level, equipped with a boot dryer and a large space to leave your bikes or skis at the end of your day in the mountains. You can then relax in the sauna or in the jacuzzi on the terrace. There is also a large workout area with an exercise bike, shower and laundry facilities.

The main living area is upstairs. The central fireplace separates the cozy living room, furnished with a large sofa, armchairs and a piano, from the dining area and the kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped and you will enjoy preparing meals together at the wooden table.

When the weather is fine, you can enjoy the large terrace for an aperitif, a dip in the jacuzzi or a barbecue.

The first bedroom is on the ground floor. It is suitable for two people and has an en-suite shower room. There is a separate toilet on this level. The other three bedrooms are on the first floor. Two of them are double rooms with plenty of storage space. The third bedroom has a double bed and a mezzanine, which is accessed by a ladder. You will find two single beds, suitable for a child. These rooms share a shower room with double basins and independent toilets.

On the top floor, you will find a large TV room and a games room with table football and an office space for two people, very practical for working or playing on the computer.

THE REGION ...

When you stay at Chalet Ibusta, you are less than a kilometre from the slopes and within walking distance of the ski bus stop.

The bus, which also serves La Clusaz, runs every 15 minutes between Chinaillon and Le Grand-Bornand. You can use it free of charge with your Aravis ski pass which covers over 220km of pristine slopes in the resorts of Le Grand-Bornand, La Clusaz and Manigod. Skiers and snowboarders of all levels can challenge themselves, while cross-country skiers will also find something to enjoy.

Not skiing? Walk, snowshoe, paraglide, take a hot air balloon ride, ice skate or climb a glacier. Le Grand-Bornand proudly displays the Famille Plus label, which means that entertainment and activities are available for the youngest throughout the year.

In the summer, you can explore the many hiking and mountain bike trails that criss-cross the mountains. Get a map from the tourist office. Go to the superb 9-hole golf course at Le Grand-Bornand, and on hot days, cool off at the water complex, which has a restaurant and a welcoming lawn for picnics.

If you're an intrepid thrill seeker, there's a climbing school, via ferrata routes, accrobranche, canyoning, white water rafting and paragliding nearby.

In August, the international children's festival Au Bonheur des Mômes is held in the village. Get your little ones ready for a week of magic, circus acts, theatre, games and workshops and a fantastic fireworks display. Book your tickets as this event is always very popular.
