Chalet Kalyssia

The splendid 5* chalet Kalyssia is located at the exit of Saint-Jorioz and overlooks the magnificent lake of Annecy. You can enjoy the view from the jacuzzi or from the swimming pool. During the off-season, the pool is equipped with a removable cover to keep the water warmer and cleaner. In spring and autumn, you can enjoy the pool even on rainy days.

The interior of this luxury chalet for 11 people (10 adults) will also dazzle you with its billiard room, hammam and wine cellar.The living space is divided into two buildings: the main house with three bedrooms, and the annex, with two double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and a large, cosy lounge. The property is located a 16 minute drive from the fascinating medieval town of Annecy. This proximity to the town means that you can enjoy the wonderful canal-side restaurants, shops, flea markets and fresh local produce at the various markets. Closer to the chalet you will find other excellent restaurants, cafes, bars and shops in St. Morioz, which also has its own lakeside beach, accessible in 10 minutes.Reach the ski or hiking slopes of Semnoz in 20 minutes, depending on the season.The chalet

This luxurious chalet is spread over three levels. The main entrance is on the ground floor, leading directly into a very large cloakroom, where you can leave all your outdoor clothes and sit for a few minutes on the chairlift to get fitted. There is also a separate toilet.

The rest of this level is dedicated to the stunning, fully open plan living area, beautifully decorated with old wood and soft neutral tones. Comfortable sofas face the imposing fireplace, the large table will allow you to share your meals all together. The elegantly equipped kitchen includes a breakfast bar and a central island. This room also opens onto the balcony, offering spectacular views of the lake and mountains. From here you can also access the terrace with its barbecue area, sunbeds, swimming pool (summer only) and jacuzzi.

On the mezzanine overlooking the living area, you will find the splendid master suite, equipped with a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room. Note that the shower walls are fully glazed.

On the lower level, two further bedrooms are accessible. The first is a double with an additional single bed and the second is a large double room with en-suite shower room. This level includes another shower room in the wellness area where you can exercise or relax in the steam room or jacuzzi. The wine cellar is at the other end of this level; the perfect place to share a good bottle with friends.The area around St. Morioz is one of the many charming villages scattered around Lake Annecy. In the summer, enjoy water sports, swim in the crystal clear lake, or take a mini-cruise on the lake.If you stay at Chalet Kalyssia in the winter, ski in the small resort of Semnoz (26 km), where you can buy a lift pass by the hour. The resort of La Sambuy, near Seythenex, south of Lake Annecy, is less than an hour away (25 km) and has 10 pistes ranging from green to black. The resorts of the Aravis massif, La Clusaz, Le Grand Bornand and Manigod are all less than an hour away and offer 220km of excellent runs.

The pool will be open from March 1st to November 11th. From March 1st to May 31st and from September 15th to November 11th a removable pool cover will be installed to allow holidaymakers to enjoy the pool even in bad weather. If you wish to benefit from the cover between June 1st and September 15th, its installation will be charged at 600 euros. Please note that animals are not allowed in the rooms. For security reasons, a surveillance camera is installed at the entrance of the property (view on the car park and the entrance). It can be disconnected on request.
